Hi friends and family! Fundraising BEFORE this event felt like too much pressure and now that it was accomplished—I’ll tell my story. I’m a board member and active participant in projects and programs for the non-profit 503 (c) Running Rivers. This amazing organization works tirelessly to advance Colorado native cutthroat trout habitats and restoration plus other fisheries outside the state. It truly is a grassroots efforts you all can be proud of now and beyond.
In January 2025, I decided to train for a challenge that requires a person to trail run more than 100 miles, gain more than 10,000 feet in cumulative elevation, catch 10 different species of fish, and drink a 20+% ABV beer, all in under 48 hours. I’ve worked my way up in fishing challenges and this was the finale!
I can’t believe I accomplished this feat alongside my ride or die crew. It was one of the BEST and most memorable experiences of my LIFE 💕. The support was monumental.
