"If you don't try, you fail from the start"

Sully needs us to try. Born with legs that had such contracted tendons, he was placed in casts. His previous owner said he was destined for euthanasia because they just couldn't care for him. Trying to avoid that, they contacted us and relinquished Sully to our rescue.

He was promptly placed in a foster home who had the space, and ability to care for him. But Sully needs more than a bottle and leg stretches.

We removed the casts from his legs, treated the wounds on his back legs, and started reaching out to veterinarians for expert advice.  After consulting with multiple veterinarians, the final decision was made to have surgery done on Sully and "release" the tendons in hopes to offer him the ability to start a new life journey.

In speaking with a veterinarian and surgeon at CSU, we developed a care plan for Sully.

Sully is currently in leg braces while he tries to build strength and is comforted by his new friends....2 miniature horses, and an Australian Shepherd.

Sully is a 3 week old colt that is loving, fun, and full of spirit. He deserves the chance to have a normal life.

We'd like to offer him all the opportunities we can. Please donate and help us do that.
