Dear Longmont Twin Peaks Sunset Rotary,
I currently serve on the board of El Comité de Longmont, a vital community organization that has advocated for and provided services to Latino and immigrant communities in Longmont for 45 years. El Comité’s mission is to support, educate, and advocate for the Latino and immigrant community, with a vision of creating a place where all residents experience belonging and equitable opportunities.
The demand and need for the services our organization provides continue to grow, and are more important than ever. That’s why I’m fundraising for El Comité. Donations from community members, no matter the size, ensure that individuals and families continue to have access to the support they need and that EL Comité can stay nimble and responsive.
