Elise Laws’ 2025 Denver Kids Walkathon Fundraiser

As you may know, I work with the Denver Kids Young Professionals Council. At Denver Kids, we believe it takes academic support, enrichment, social-emotional tools and future planning to unlock full, lifelong success for every student. Proven for nearly 80 years, our model integrates evidence-based programming, compassion and creativity to make the biggest impact in the lives of over 900 students in Denver Public Schools. Our success, however, would not be attainable without the support of individuals backing our program. Over the years, our community’s support has enabled Denver Kids to provide our students the necessary tools to achieve real-time success and fulfill their lifelong goals. 

The Denver Kids Young Professionals Council is excited to announce our Second Annual Walk Tall Walkathon fundraiser held on October 25th, 2025, at Washington Park in Denver. I will be participating in this special event to raise money in support of the mission and programing of Denver Kids. 

How it works:

- Supporters pledge a per-mile donation. Most donors are contributing between $5 to $25 per mile; however, any amount would be immensely appreciated!

- Board and YPC members walk laps at Washington Park on October 25th, and I track how many miles I walk. 

- I share with my supporters how many miles I walked, and you make your donation based on the support you pledged.
