Help Me Open the World to Denver Students 🌎

Exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and connecting with people from different backgrounds have shaped how I see the world. Travel has taught me curiosity, empathy, independence, and the value of perspectives different from my own.

I believe every young person deserves the opportunity to experience that kind of growth.

That's one of the reasons I recently made a big career change. After more than a decade in the corporate world, I stepped into a new role as Executive Director of the DCIS Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to making immersive educational travel accessible to Denver students.

Since 1997, the foundation has helped more than 5,600 Denver Public Schools students explore the world beyond their classrooms, building confidence, cultural understanding, and the skills to become engaged global citizens.

But not every student has the means to participate in these life-changing experiences.

This Colorado Gives Day, I'm personally raising $1,000 to help change that.

For context, an average individual travel scholarship is approximately $1,000. Every contribution brings us closer to helping another student experience the world firsthand.

Whether it's $50 or $250, your gift helps open doors to experiences that can shape a student's future.

If you've ever returned from a trip feeling like you see the world a little differently, and you know yourself a little better, you know exactly why this matters.

I'd be incredibly grateful for your support as I begin this new chapter and work to make transformative travel possible for more Denver students.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me! πŸ’šπŸŒŽ
