In 2018, I packed up my car and drove from Tennessee to Denver with no idea of what my new city would have in store for me. Like any new transplant, I asked around, looking for activities that would let me dive into the Denver lifestyle - "MCA Denver," was the resounding reply. Looking for incredible art? "MCA Denver!" Looking for unique events? "MCA Denver!" Looking for live music? "MCA Denver!" Looking for rooftop cocktails? "MCA Denver!"

Before I had a chance to visit the museum, a recruiter called me about a job opening at a local non-profit art museum. As luck would have it, it was MCA Denver! I was ecstatic, already wowed by its reputation. And so began some of the most amazing years of my life. MCA Denver gave me best friends, days and nights full of laughter, and a career I could have only dreamed of. Now it's time to give back.
