Getting Kids to the Park

At the Friends of Mueller State Park, we believe every child deserves a chance to experience the wonder of Colorado’s wild places. This year, we’re raising funds to bring elementary school students, many from city neighborhoods with limited access to nature, up to the park for a full day of outdoor discovery. With guidance from our volunteer naturalists and dedicated park staff, these kids will explore forests and meadows, learn about wildlife, and gain a hands-on understanding of wilderness conservation.
