Books on Tap: A Community Fundraiser for ILD

Our Inaugural Books on Tap Fundraiser: Cheers to Denver’s Youngest Readers! 📚🍻

Books on Tap is a community fundraiser event happening on September 12, 2026 at Station 26 Brewing Co (event info below!) supporting Imagination Library of Denver with the goal of giving more Denver children the opportunity to build a home library.

More than 8,900 Denver children currently receive a free, high-quality book in the mail every month. As enrollment grows, so does the need for support. It now costs more than $10,000 each month to mail books to Denver children. The books are provided through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, but local fundraising helps cover the cost of getting them into children’s homes.

Give the Gift of Books
$15: Covers 4 books for one child
$31: Covers one child's books for an entire year
$70: Covers one child's books for 2 years
$150: 50 books - enough for about 4 years of reading
$500: 180 books - every book for three children from age 0-5

Every donation to Books on Tap helps us continue mailing books on-time and without delay to Denver children from birth through age five, helping families build home libraries and supporting early literacy from the very beginning.
