Life can be unexpected and that was certainly true of both my kids' births. The NICU is a scary, overwhelming, and miraculous place all at once. But Love for Lily was there for us, helping navigate the up, downs, and everything in between. Running too helped with my stress and anxiety. So...I combined the two and ran the Colfax half marathon on May 17. When I saw my adorable and silly kiddos (see picture) at Mile 8, my eyes filled with tears. We are so lucky to have them! Love for Lily continues to help NICU families like mine. I'm grateful for any support.
