Bibles and BBQ Ministries Year 2: Time to scale

Hello to all that have been following along this year as we launched Bibles and BBQ Ministries.  It has been a wonderful journey so far filled with a lot of learning, growth, and impact to our local communities.  We have prepared ~1350 meals for those less fortunate since launching in August of 2025 and we are just getting started.  One of the organizations we started serving in December 2025 has asked if we could include a Bible Study or Devotional with our events.  For some locations we need to have insurance and provide proof in order to prepare food onsite.  Believe it or not, we are growing out of the trailer smoker we initially purchased and will need to expand so we can meet demand at our events.  At an event last month, we had the smoker completely full with chicken legs, to the point it was hard to get the temp up and stable due to what I believe air flow issues.....aka 120 lbs of cold chicken legs.  Not to mention, this doesn't include sides.  At some locations we have access to a kitchen to prepare sides others we do not.  All this to say, God is good.  We believe God has led us to this mission, it is making an impact in our local communities, and there is much more to come in 2026 and beyond.  With that said, we operate completely off donations and all funds go towards food, supplies, bibles, and the overall ministry.  We are going to continue to pray and move forward as we feel God is leading us. We are always looking for volunteers to assist at local events.  All event upcoming events are published to our website.....we have events through June of 2026 scheduled and thats 11.  To give you an idea on how much we are scaling, we did a total of 6 last year starting in August, this year we have 11 in the first 6 months.  We plan on having 23 and we are targeting providing 4600 meals. This is what we have planned, if other opportunities come up and we feel God is leading us to move forward we will.  We also ask that you continue to prayer for the ministry and that God continue to lead and provide for us.
