Medical Fundraiser: Ziggy's Ventplasty Surgery

After several months of recovery from his cloacopexy surgery, Ziggy is now ready for the second portion of his cloacal prolapse treatment, a ventplasty surgery.

Back in September 2025, you helped us raise over $15,000 for the surgeries of both Ziggy and Fredie, two birds in our care that were both in need of surgery to address their cloacal prolapsing. Due to the severity and complexity of Ziggy's prolapse, he requires a secondary surgery, a ventplasty. 

Under the careful treatment of the team at Colorado Exotic Animal Hospital and our team here at The Gabriel Foundation, we are dedicated to making sure that Ziggy receives the highest standard of care so he can live a life free from the discomfort of cloacal prolapse, a painful condition that puts him at serious risk for life-threatening infections.
