Most of us can name the person who believed in us before we believed in ourselves. A coach, a teacher, a neighbor who checked in when things got hard.
Denver Kids, Inc. makes sure more Denver students have that person. Their mentors meet kids where they are, help them push through tough stretches, stay in school, and figure out what comes next, whether that's college, a trade, or a first job.
For a lot of these students, a mentor is the difference between dropping out and walking across the graduation stage. It's not a one-time program. It's a relationship that lasts years.
That's why the Young Professionals Council is walking in the 2026 Walk Tall Walkathon. We're people building our careers in this city, and we want every kid here to have the same shot we did.
We're aiming to raise as much as we can, and we'd love your help getting there. Every dollar goes toward keeping a mentor in a student's corner.
