Keep the Story Going for Denver’s Children

Update as of October 2026:

Thank you to our generous supporters for helping Imagination Library of Denver reach new milestones this year! Thanks to your support, we’ve raised more than $91,000, surpassing our original $75,000 fundraising goal. We’ve increased our goal to $125,000 to keep up with the growing need and build on this incredible momentum.

Today, more than 9,900 Denver children ages 0–5 receive a free, age-appropriate book in the mail every month, with English and English–Spanish bilingual options available. Since 2015, we’ve helped put hundreds of thousands of books into the hands of Denver’s youngest readers. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides the books, and we cover the cost of mailing them directly to local families.

With more children enrolling and monthly mailing costs continuing to grow, your support is more important than ever. Every donation helps keep books arriving at doorsteps across Denver and gives more children the chance to build a love of reading from an early age.

As we head into the holiday season, we’re excited to share our mission with even more people across Denver. Thank you for helping us carry Dolly’s legacy forward and build a stronger foundation for our city’s youngest learners, one book at a time!
