Our Equine Heroes

Riding Institute for Disabled Equestrians envisions a future where equine assisted services and programs enhance our participants ,there families, and volunteers. We want our programs to promote a more engaging ,fulfilling and positive lifestyle.  So fostering a community where they interact with our equine partners to create that positive environment is our ultimate goal.  RIDE began 1992 with a few horses and a handful of students.  Now we have four CTRI PATH certified Instructors, ESMHL credentials  over 300 students, 50 volunteers, and 16 horses. Our vision for 2026 is to promote our wellbeing programs with the knowledge and patience of our equine partners.  We are very excited for our programs we offer the school districts to continue and expand. Meaningful and purposeful activities  are used with the client based on their interests and needs.
