The Health and Wellness Community Orchestra is composed of local, volunteer musicians who love to play ensemble music together. We enrich the lives of our fellow musicians and listening audience with musical experiences that are joyful, enlightening and affordable for all.
Mission: The Health and Wellness Community Orchestra is a community-based orchestra that enhances the physical and mental well-being of its musicians and audience through the power of music.
We believe:
- That the uplifting power of live music should be available to everyone.
- In providing a musical experience that fun loving musicians join to broaden their musical knowledge, develop new friendships, and enhance their level of performance in a welcoming environment.
- In inviting musicians to apply to play with the orchestra without the anxiety of an audition.
- In making every concert a family concert, so that all can come, listen and enjoy as much or as little as they wish without worry about cost
