Second Wind Fund's story began with one Jefferson County school who experienced four suicides in one school year. The community behind that school rallied together to ensure that no more youth would be prevented from accessing mental health care due to social and financial barriers.

For 25 years, SWF has been devoted to bridging gaps, so cost, access, and difficulty do not stand in the way. Operating statewide, Second Wind Fund has supported thousands of Colorado youth and provided more than 70,000 sessions of therapy. Our goal is to carry this momentum into the next 25 years. To celebrate this milestone, we are reestablishing the Hope Builders Club. The Hope Builders Club originally recognized the amazing dedication of our monthly donors and their passion for youth suicide prevention, and we intend to keep showcasing our appreciation as we restore it.
