The Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education (CAEE) plays a vital role in connecting young people to nature, learning, and leadership through high-quality environmental education across our state. CAEE strengthens programs, supports educators, and ensures that kids from every community—urban and rural alike—have access to meaningful outdoor learning experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and stewardship for Colorado’s beautiful landscapes.

My connection to CAEE is personal as well as professional. Through my work serving youth and families in outdoor education settings, I see firsthand how transformative these experiences are—especially for children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to explore the outdoors in a supported, educational way. CAEE’s advocacy, training, and network make it possible for educators like me and organizations across Colorado to deliver programs that change lives. Supporting CAEE means investing in the next generation of leaders, conservationists, and changemakers—and ensuring that the power of outdoor education reaches every child who can benefit from it.
