Nighthawks in Need Community Assistance

Nighthawks in Need is a school-based program created to ensure that every student has the opportunity to fully participate in all aspects of school life, regardless of financial circumstances. The program provides confidential financial assistance to students who may need support covering the costs of field trips, extracurricular events, school activities, or other enrichment opportunities.

Originally funded through the generous efforts of Student Council (STUCO) and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), Nighthawks in Need has helped many students experience the full range of opportunities our school offers. However, we have seen an increase in the number of families requesting assistance this year. In response, we are expanding our efforts to reach and support even more students than in the past.

By removing financial barriers, Nighthawks in Need promotes equitable participation and belonging within our school community—allowing every student to learn, grow, and take part in the experiences that make school meaningful. We invite families, staff, and community members to join us in supporting this important program so that every Nighthawk can participate and thrive.
