In response to the tragic shootings at Evergreen High School on September 10, 2025, the EHS PTSA has stepped forward to respond. To ensure transparency and fiscal responsibility, they have partnered with the Evergreen Legacy Foundation. Funds will be controlled and distributed locally through a joint committee of the two organizations.
Evergreen Legacy Foundation made the first donation in the amount of $10,000 by opening the bank account needed for this purpose. EHS PTSA also contributed $3,000 toward the bank account opening.
Colorado Healing Fund has asked to partner with the #Evergreen Strong Community Recovery Fund, so that monies collected from CHF will be channeled through this fund. Giving to either fund will end up in the Evergreen community.
For every donation made to this fundraising page, Colorado Gives Foundation will grant back any fees above the 2.05% payment processing fee to the Evergreen Legacy Foundation.
