The Denver Urban Debate League empowers students from under-resourced schools to find their voice, break barriers, and lead in their communities. Your gift provides coaching, curriculum, and competition opportunities at no cost, ensuring every student has the chance to succeed.

The Denver Urban Debate League is committed to providing access to competitive debate programming and quality debate education to students from under-resourced schools in the Denver Metro area. Our mission is to help young people develop the advocacy and analytical skills to break social, educational, and professional barriers while becoming stronger learners, empowered advocates, and leaders in their communities.

In 2025, DUDL welcomed new schools into the league, launched workshops at the University of Denver, and nearly doubled the competitive opportunities for students at our tournaments. 

Looking ahead, your support will help us:

• Strengthen partnerships with schools to grow debate programs in underserved communities.

• Expand Debate Inspired Classrooms districtwide, reaching more teachers and students in Denver Public Schools and Aurora Public Schools.

• Provide more tournaments, workshops, and mentorship opportunities so students can sharpen their skills and build lifelong confidence.

• Invest in data systems and volunteer engagement to ensure every student and family feels connected to our mission.
