For Love & Babes began as a simple but powerful vision: that no mother should move through the postpartum season—or any season of parenting—without support, connection, and community care. What started as small conversations between overwhelmed parents has turned into a growing, deeply impactful support network serving families across the Four Corners region.

We believe that life is made of transitions—the tender, exhilarating, disorienting, and often invisible seasons that reshape who we are. For many, those transitions begin long before a baby arrives. Fertility journeys, pregnancy loss, complicated pregnancies, relationship shifts, identity changes, and the swirl of expectations often unfold quietly, with little space for honesty or shared understanding. That’s where For Love & Babes steps in.

We exist to hold space for the parts of parenthood that aren’t widely acknowledged. Not just birth announcements, milestones, or cute photos—but the real human experiences behind them: sleepless nights, emotional overwhelm, shifting identities, breastfeeding struggles, physical recovery, returning to work, navigating childcare, and renegotiating relationships with partners, careers, bodies, and selves.

Our mission is not to fix anyone. Our mission is to walk alongside people with warmth, honesty, and compassionate presence. We do this through four main pillars of community care:

Support Groups - Our groups offer real talk in safe space—where feelings are witnessed, where tears are normal, where vulnerability is met with kindness, and where parents leave feeling resourced rather than alone. These groups often become lifelines, offering what many families never receive elsewhere: a village.

Educational Workshops - We partner with professionals—therapists, midwives, educators, pelvic floor specialists, lactation consultants, and more—to bring accessible, evidence-based information into community settings. Our workshops reduce isolation, empower families, and help people feel supported with practical tools.

Community Events and Gatherings - We bring families together—picnics, small circles, postpartum gatherings, parent-child meetups, and seasonal events. These gatherings create belonging, friendship, and spaces where support extends far beyond the class or workshop.

Resource Navigation - People in transitional seasons often don't know what they need or where to turn. We curate local providers, specialists, and community services so that families have a clear entry point to trustworthy care.

But the need is growing faster than our ability to sustain it. We see parents struggling with rising costs of healthcare, childcare, housing, and basic well-being. Many want support but cannot afford it. Our goal is to make emotional and educational care accessible regardless of financial circumstance.

This fundraiser will directly support:

  • Subsidized seats in support groups

  • Pay-what-you-can and sliding-scale offerings

  • Facilitator training and fair compensation for educators and specialists

  • Rental fees for meeting space

  • Materials, curriculum development, and hospitality supplies

  • Community outreach to villages, rural homes, and underserved families

Every gift—large or small—creates an immediate ripple of impact. When one parent feels less alone, their children benefit; their relationships strengthen; their sense of self expands. Support is never just for the individual—it strengthens an entire family system.

Our commitment is to create a culture of belonging. A place where miscarriage is not suffered silently. Where postpartum anxiety is not minimized. Where healing is honored. Where grief has language. Where joy is celebrated. Where identity shifts are supported instead of dismissed. Where the journey into parenthood—whether early or well into the teenage years—is not walked alone.

For Love & Babes is here to meet people across generations: brand-new parents, seasoned parents, single parents, foster families, queer and non-binary parents, caregivers raising children not biologically their own, and people completing childbearing, entering perimenopause, or redefining themselves once children need them less.

We envision community care as a long arc—not just a moment after birth.

We are building the kind of support we wished existed for ourselves.

Your contribution sustains that vision. Your generosity keeps support groups open. Your participation helps families experience dignity, belonging, education, and hope.

Thank you for believing that care matters. Thank you for helping us build a community where nobody has to navigate these transitions alone.

For Love & Babes exists because of people like you—people who believe support should be a given, not a privilege.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for loving families alongside us. And thank you for ensuring that every parent has a place to land, heal, and be held.
