Help The HIVE Grow: Safety, Support, and Hope for Survivors
A Word of Thanks campaign with Kyle Clark | $50,000 fundraising goal
As funding for victim services continues to decrease, the need for support continues to grow. Your gift helps Crossroads Safehouse & Services meet that need through The HIVE, Larimer County’s first Family Justice Center.
Your donation can make an immediate difference. Thanks to the generosity of our longtime partner Dennis Hemstreet, we have a $15,000 matching gift to help your support go further. And Kyle Clark will match the first 50 donations of $5.
Every gift matters. Every survivor deserves access to safety and support.
Why The HIVE Matters
The HIVE, the Hub for Information, Validation and Empowerment, brings services and community partners together in one welcoming location. It helps survivors and families connect with support, understand their options, and take steps toward a safer future.
In just 6 months since opening in April 2026, The HIVE has become a vital resource for survivors, with demand far exceeding expectations. Based on similar programs in Denver, projections suggested a new center would initially serve about 7 clients per week. The HIVE served 22 survivors in its first week alone.
Since opening, The HIVE has supported 284 survivors accessing nearly 700 services—a clear indication of the urgent and growing need for this program. To ensure every survivor can access the support, resources, and care they deserve, we need your help to keep up with this overwhelming demand.
For someone experiencing domestic violence, finding help can be overwhelming. Navigating legal systems, accessing resources, finding safety, and figuring out what comes next can feel like too much to face alone.
Through Crossroads Safehouse & Services and our partners, The HIVE strengthens access to advocacy, legal resources, and other essential services for people impacted by domestic violence.
But these services depend on resources. As victim service funding decreases and the need for assistance grows, community generosity is increasingly important to keeping support accessible.
Your Gift Makes a Difference
Your generosity, combined with the support of our matching donors, can help us reach our $50,000 goal.
