As a board member with Kids First Health Care, I’ve seen firsthand how access to quality, affordable health care changes lives. Health is the foundation for everything else, education, opportunity, family stability, and community strength.

You can’t focus on learning if you don’t feel well. You can’t show up fully for your family or your career if your health needs aren’t being met. It’s all connected, and that’s why the work Kids First does matters so much.

Right now, families are facing more barriers than ever when it comes to getting the care they need. Clinics are closing, benefits are being reduced, and costs are rising. Kids First Health Care is one of the few organizations still standing in the gap, making sure children and teens in Adams County can see a doctor, talk to a mental health professional, and get the care they need.
