In 2026 it can cost up to $500 to complete all of the screening & diagnostic imaging for breast cancer detection. At DAWN Health, our patients lack health insurance to help cover these costs and often are forced to skip the yearly recommended screenings.
Our campaign in 2024 increased the percentage of people who have completed their breast cancer screening from 16% in 2023 to 40% in 2026.
However, ther are still over 130 women that come to our clinic that have not been able to complete their recommended breast cancer screenings.
Your support in this fundraiser can help the women we serve receive the critical breast cancer screenings they need and stop preventable cancer deaths.

DAWN Health is a student-run free clinic that serves the uninsured of Aurora. Through the volunteerism of local students, faculty, and community members - we are able to host weekly evening clinics to provide no-cost health services to our patients.
Since 2015 we have been serving our Aurora community and continue to see increasing demand for services among our uninsured neighbors. We appreciate your support of our mission.
