The Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau (CRSB) creates connection and understanding between refugees, immigrants, and the receiving community to build a more inclusive, vibrant, and cohesive Colorado.
Founded in 2016, CRSB brings together refugee and immigrant speakers from around the world to share their lived experiences and perspectives with schools, workplaces, community organizations, faith communities, and audiences across Colorado. Through storytelling, our speakers create opportunities for meaningful dialogue, learning, and connection.
At the heart of CRSB are our values:
Storytelling — We believe in the power of stories to create connection and inspire change.
Individuality — We honor each speaker's unique story, experience, and perspective.
Learning — We are committed to growth, development, and meaningful exchange.
Community — We strive to build stronger communities through connection and understanding.
Integrity — We approach our work in ways that promote welcome and respect for refugee and immigrant communities.
Today, CRSB includes 50+ speakers representing 20+ countries, creating hundreds of opportunities for community conversations across Colorado.
Your donation helps sustain this work. Contributions support speaker honorariums, training and professional development, community-building opportunities, outreach, and the resources needed to sustain the Bureau long-term so it can continue to create meaningful opportunities in our community.
When you support CRSB, you help make space for more voices, more stories, and more opportunities for people to listen, learn, and connect.
Together, we can build a Colorado where refugee and immigrant voices are heard, valued, and celebrated.
The Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau is fiscally sponsored by the African Community Center. All donations made through COGives go directly to the work of the Bureau.
