Cloud City Wheelers 2025 Colorado Gives Day

Cloud City Wheelers has been rolling since 2007, building and maintaining over 70 miles of trail in Lake County (and counting!). These trails are the backbone of our outdoor fun—keeping our community riding, running, hiking, exploring, and soaking up these mountains year-round. We also maintain Huck Finn Bike Park—our free, public, come-as-you-are playground for riders of all ages.

But here’s the real talk: trails don’t just magically appear. The average cost to build ONE mile of trail in Colorado is $40,000–$100,000. Thanks to our volunteer power and lean operations, we do it for about $14,000 per mile… which is awesome—but still a chunk of change.

And we need your help to keep the momentum rolling.

Lake County relies on outdoor recreation—not just for fun, but for our health, our economy, and the unique magic that makes this place home. We are one of the most visited outdoor destinations in the world (yep, really), and keeping our trails in good shape matters.
