Stronger for Generations: Kysha's page

I’m the Director of Development and Communications at Focus Points Family Resource Center, and I joined the team this year. In my short time here, I’ve gotten to see just how deeply this organization is woven into the fabric of the Globeville and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods and beyond.

Focus Points walks alongside families in a historically marginalized, predominantly Latine and low-income community that has faced decades of environmental, economic, and infrastructure disinvestment. From operating a pay-what-you-can farmers market that brings fresh, affordable produce into a neighborhood with limited food access, to providing at-home early childhood education, creating opportunities for youth and older adults, and helping families navigate resources for rent, utilities, and other essential needs, Focus Points is a vital part of this community.
