We are looking forward to celebrating a decade of bold ideas, powerful partnerships, and measurable progress for young children and their families. As we mark this exciting milestone, we invite you to support our work by becoming a sponsor of the event.
Since 2015, Early Milestones has been a trusted partner across Colorado, working in all 64 counties and collaborating with over 300 organizations to improve early childhood systems. We’ve helped leverage more than $35 million in funding—public and philanthropic—into local communities to strengthen early care and learning, health, economic opportunity, and family support.
Our work delivers tangible results both locally and statewide:
Through our Impact on Equity Fund, supported by several donors and a gift from MacKenzie Scott, we’ve championed seven community-led initiatives for families with infants that prioritize equity, culturally responsive care, health, and economic stability.
Over 300 early care and education programs have received direct support to improve quality, expand services, or build more inclusive environments.
We led the statewide stakeholder input processes, shaping the new Department of Early Childhood and Colorado’s Universal Pre-K program in order to implement HB21-1304.
And still, the need is growing. A recent Milestones’ survey shows that 1 in 3 licensed child care providers in Colorado may close without continued investment. Families with young children continue to navigate health care gaps, affordability barriers, food insecurity, and workforce disruptions. Thriving families are the foundation of our economy and community well-being.
As Milestones celebrates its 10th anniversary and looks ahead, we are seeking partners who believe in the power of early investment and community-driven solutions. Your support will help us empower leaders across Colorado who are building stronger systems for young children and families.
