Leta's Vision: 250 New $20 Mo Donors = New Studio

Hi, I'm Leta, the founder of Autistic Wings. I’ve been a dancer since I was six years old. But for years, I was "othered" at traditional dance studios. I was made to feel like I couldn't dance, even while I was leaving those studios to go perform with Chloe Arnold's SoleTalk. I started Autistic Wings so no dancer would ever feel that way again.

Over the past two years, the demand for our unique dance classes has been incredible! People really seem to like adapting the class to the dancer, and not having the dancer adapt to the class. We’ve grown so much that we now have a long waiting list of children and adults eager to experience the joy of dance. And we’re finally getting tap dancers! (Which as a tap dancer I am super excited about.)

But there’s a problem: our current studio space is crumbling, unsafe, and we simply can’t add more classes. We’re having to turn families away.

We’ve found a new studio that will solve everything. Moving will instantly allow us to double our class offerings and put us on track to grow by over 400% by September 2026! More importantly, this move brings the stability we need to finally be eligible for grants and secure our long-term mission.

But we need your help. To cover the rent for this new space, we have a clear, achievable goal: we just need 250 people to become Stability Partners by donating $20 a month through Colorado Gives.
