Austin carries riders who need a full team around them—side walkers alongside, a horse leader, and an instructor guiding the lesson. He also shines with riders who are ready to do more on their own, offering a willing, responsive partner as they practice steering, changing gait, and building real independence in the saddle.

Austin doesn’t know the words “disability” or “adaptive riding.” What he knows is how to move with a steady rhythm that helps bodies relax, how to wait patiently at the mounting block while a rider gets settled, and how to give confidence to someone who isn’t sure they can do this yet—but tries anyway.

Behind every one of Austin’s lessons is a team of people who love him—and a long list of very practical needs. Austin needs quality hay and pellets to keep him strong, regular farrier visits to keep his feet healthy, routine veterinary care to keep him comfortable, and well‑fitted tack so he can do his job safely. The cost of all of this adds up quickly, but the impact he has on our riders is priceless.
