Walk. Give. Help teens feel seen and not alone.

Most of what teens carry isn’t visible.

Every day, they navigate pressure, anxiety, isolation, and emotions that often go unseen — the kind of weight that lives beneath the surface. Creating spaces for connection, support, and early access to resources matters so deeply.

That’s why we’re coming together for the 1st Annual Beneath the Surface 5K Walk for Teen Suicide Awareness & Prevention.

BENEATH THE SURFACE 5K WALK

This walk is for teens, their families, and their friends to connect with others, and find suicide prevention and mental health resources in a space that feels safe and supportive.

🌊  Beneath the Surface is for teens carrying more than they show on the surface.
đź’¬  Be real. Feel seen. Connect with others.
đź’™  Access suicide prevention and mental health resources in a safe space.
✨  No fixing. No pretending. Just show up!
🤝  You matter. You’re not alone.

🦆  A group of ducks is called a raft — moving together, stronger, protected by community. Find your support!

Together, we walk to bring what’s beneath the surface into the light — and to connect teens and families with the support and resources they need.

There is no cost to participate! Registration is required. https://forms.gle/EhPKGeC9DQadxuFh6

_____________________

Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death among adolescents in the United States — a reminder of why awareness, connection, and early support matter.

If you're unable to attend but would still like to support, donations to Second Wind Fund help provide access to life-saving mental health care for teens across our community. We are keeping event costs minimal so the majority of funds raised directly support their mission.
