$500 goal

I've been a proud member of the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra (DPO) since 2017. The DPO was originally founded in 1948 as the Denver Businessmen's Orchestra by Antonia Brico, the first woman ever to conduct the NY Phil. Our name may have changed over the years, but the ethos resonates with me strongly -- you don't have to be a professional musician to play high caliber music. And we bring that quality and joy to the pubic every performance.

I believe music should belong to everyone—and that’s exactly what the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra is making happen. Our concerts aren’t just performances; they’re experiences that connect people, spark curiosity, and welcome everyone into the world of classical music.

Through programs like More Than Music, each event includes interactive activities, local partnerships, and opportunities to learn and connect before and after the music. And with our Take A Stand initiative, DPO is breaking down barriers—offering free tickets for youth, accessible performances, and partnerships that highlight underrepresented voices.

By helping me reach my $500 goal, you’ll be supporting:

  • Free and discounted tickets so cost is never a barrier. No one is turned away at the door if they cannot afford a ticket.

  • Interactive, community-focused programming that brings people together.

  • Equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives that ensure everyone feels welcome.

Every gift—whether $10 or $100—helps make music accessible, meaningful, and a force for good in our community. Together, we can ensure that the DPO continues to inspire, connect, and create a space where music truly belongs to all.

Thank you for joining me in supporting this mission!
