Stand for Climate Literacy: Fund Wild Rose Education's Climate Leadership

We need effective, deep, and sticky climate literacy learning and empowerment more now than ever. Wild Rose Education has many climate projects in motion that, with a boost of financial support, will increase learning, empower community action, and be exponential in reach as educators' learning impacts their students for years to come. In recent months these projects have become threatened or stalled out by shifting federal government priorities.

Thank you for your generous support to keep these Wild Rose Education climate projects going:

Colorado Climate Empowerment

• Climate literacy professional development courses and workshops for educators across Colorado and beyond
• Develop and facilitate youth climate literacy programs across Colorado
• Coordinate and grow the Colorado network of climate communicators, educators, and community leaders
• Lead the NASA Earth To Sky Colorado Regional Team – host climate interpretation workshop for non-formal educators in 2026
• Increase climate, water, and river citizen science project participation
• Conduct field science research: pika monitoring and rock glacier water sampling

Climate Empowerment with National and International Reach

• Arctic 101 virtual course development completion and facilitation
• Continue to coordinate Arctic education outreach project: working with educators, curating Arctic Ocean current curriculum, and telling stories (blogs) of participating community members around the world.
• Support ocean and climate education curriculum design and implementation in rural schools in Alaska
• Serve in advisory leadership roles with national and international climate education and interpretation programs
