What: Trans Rights Karaoke Night (18+)
When: July 11th, 2025 from 8pm - 11pm MST
Where: The Lyric Cinema in Fort Collins, CO.
Why? Well...
Trans Rights Karaoke Night began in 2023 as a small fundraising idea with big goals: orchestrate a built-by-and-for the community event, celebrate local queer artists, and support meaningful work focused on pressing, trans-specific issues. With the help of incredible friends and allies, we cobbled together our very first event at Lady Justice Brewing in August of that year. For 3hrs we sang our hearts out with strangers, played silly games, cheered on drag queens, and helped raise whatever we could for our friends at the Transformative Freedom Fund. The result was beyond anything I could have imagined, and I was honored to hear I wasn't the only one rearing to do it again!
This year, I’m thrilled to say we are continuing with the next installment of TRKN at The Lyric Cinema, a space already treasured by so many LGBTQIA+ folks here in Fort Collins (myself very much included). We are also so honored to be raising funds to help support the Trans Continental Pipeline, a nonprofit helping trans people relocate from unsafe areas and rebuild their lives in Colorado.
The evening will be packed with karaoke, drag, burlesque, games, and so much more! It’s all about coming together, supporting each other, and having a fantastic time. I’m so proud to be part of this community and can’t wait to see everyone there!
