I Promote Digital Inclusion at FC Public Media Because...
The FoCo Local programming at FC Public Media builds bridges in our community. These programs connect people of diverse cultures by featuring faces, voices, stories and histories, many of which are not often seen on mainstream media.
FC Public Media strives to create a culture in which polarization decreases while awareness, empathy and searching for common goals leads to civil discourse while reliable and truthful information about local issues and events is conveyed.
FC Public Media's professional video producers provide vital community services by contracting with non-profit organizations to create low-cost videos these groups will use to enhance their missions.
Learning new skills at FC Public Media provides an avenue towards higher paying jobs. Video editors and videographers are needed in our area. Our volunteer producers gain personal satisfaction from learning how to create original shows that entertain, inform and educate viewers.
