HABITAT RESTORE FUNDRAISING LANGUAGE IDEAS:

1. Habitat Vail Valley ReStore staff focus on donation procurement, furniture and household sales, and a vision where everyone in our community has a safe place to call home.  Annual proceeds from the ReStore generate xxxx$$$ dollars to help build affordable homes in Eagle County.  

2. ReStores are independently owned stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. ReStores accept donations and sell a constantly changing inventory of diverse, high-quality merchandise to the public at a fraction of the retail price, while diverting reusable household items and building materials from area landfills.

3. Sales of donated items help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes in your community and around the world — a good deal for you, your community and the environment. Together, we can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better future while creating stronger neighborhoods.

4. This Colorado Gives Day the local Habitat Vail Valley ReStore has a goal of raising $5,000 (??) by sharing their story. Staff, volunteers, real estate agents, builders, contractors, and habitat partner families work to support the ReStore and keep furniture and household items in circulation - please consider a donation on CO Gives Day. They net $30,000 (??)  a month in proceeds - these dollars require long hours on their feet, moving, hauling, sorting, organizing, and selling. Please consider a donation in any amount to honor their passion for affordable housing, and a vision where everyone has a safe place to call home.

5. How does donating to ReStore help families? The money raised by Habitat ReStores helps families build a decent and affordable place to call home. Funds from the ReStore helps families achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better future.
