Golden Women's Statue Committee

There are many women who have significantly contributed to the City of Golden. The Golden Women's Statue Committee's purpose is to honor these women through an art piece(s) in a prominent place within the city. The proposed location of the sculpture(s) will be in the south west corner of Parfet Park in Golden. This is a very visible and prominent location which lends itself beautifully to the intent of this project.
Gudy Gaskill will be the first women to be memorialized. The committee is working to determine additional women to celebrate and fundraising for these art installations is underway.
