Equine Adoption

My name is Spencer.  I am a Mustang. I was born free and then my mother and I were rounded up and sent to the auction pens - yikes! - luckily, my mom and I were noticed and we were brought to Spirit Wind Horse Rescue! I have been well cared for but waiting for my forever home.  Three years ago, a woman began to encourage me to trust.  This was new to me as I had been very scared of humans.  It took awhile but, eventually, I realized that humans and equines can support and learn from one another.  Then, this summer the best thing ever happened --- I was adopted!
