In recent years, our Raptor Care Team has seen an increase in smaller birds of prey inhabiting urban neighborhoods. This has caused an increase in our intake of these species and the need for improved housing while the birds recover. $17,500 will help NWDC purchase materials needed to build 3 additional flight enclosures, expanding and enhancing exercise and recovery areas for recuperating birds of prey and large corvids (crows and ravens).
