Tom Zimdahl Memorial Fund

For all who knew Tom Zimdahl, we'll always treasure how he inspired us to laugh often and love each other. We'll forever delight in the joy his too-short life gave to us, and remember his integrity, kindness, care for others, love of life, and his warm-hearted personality. Before his death on July 11, 2017 - after a courageous battle with brain cancer - he also gave us a lesson in how to life fully.

Tom was born April 29, 1970 and became a member of the Zimdahl family on August 20, 1970. Tom dedicated his life to making recreational opportunities possible for the youth of Fort Collins. To honor Tom's service to kids as a 23-year employee of the City of Fort Collins Recreation Department, we're asking for donations in his memory to help underprivileged youth participate in the city's recreational programs, such as sports, swim lessons, and summer camps.

The City of Fort Collins Recreation Department's mission is to foster health and well-being through diverse and inclusive recreation opportunities, sustainable planning, and community partnerships. Please join us in celebrating Tom by donating to a cause for which he cared so much.
