Join us in building a brighter future for Colorado’s youngest learners! The TEACH Early Childhood® Colorado Scholarship Program removes financial and educational barriers, allowing dedicated early childhood educators to grow their skills, advance their careers, and make a lasting impact. Your support means stronger teachers, better classrooms, and endless possibilities for Colorado’s children. Let’s build up our educators together!

TEACH is currently empowering 41 early childhood professionals to enhance their skills and impact young lives. However, there are currently 209 eligible students on the waitlist—qualified, passionate individuals ready to join the program but unable to due to limited funding.

With your support, we can break down this barrier and provide more scholarships to those who are ready to dedicate themselves to early childhood education. Other key higher education initiatives that were previously funded by federal stimulus dollars have ended, making our community support more vital than ever. Every dollar you contribute brings us closer to giving all eligible educators the opportunity to grow professionally and deliver high-quality care to Colorado’s youngest learners.

Are you interested in making a BIG impact?

Your contribution can open doors to education for early childhood professionals, empowering them to grow and make a difference in the lives of Colorado’s children. Here’s how your support can help:

$100 Provides required textbooks for one student for one semester
$850 Provides funding for one class at a Colorado community college, helping an early childhood professional take a crucial step toward their degree or teacher/director credential in Early Childhood Education.
$1,910 Funds a class at a 4-year Colorado university, giving an early childhood educator access to advanced learning opportunities.
$2,540

$5,710 Supports a full semester (9 credits) at a Colorado university, helping educators continue their path toward a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
$17,000

$38,100 Covers the cost of a Bachelor’s Degree (60 credits) in Early Childhood Education, paving the way for better outcomes for young children and creating a brighter career path for dedicated educators.

How Does T.E.A.C.H. Work?

The TEACH Early Childhood® Colorado Scholarship Program offers early childhood professionals a pathway to pursue higher education. Eligible participants are employed within the early childhood profession (in either child-facing or consultative/support roles) and are interested in obtaining an undergraduate degree or credential in early childhood education. The program provides scholarships covering a significant portion of tuition and book costs, along with bonuses upon successful completion of coursework.

Employers also play an essential role in this program. Participating employers commit to supporting their employees by covering a small portion of the tuition costs and allowing paid release time (paid release time is reimbursed to the center by TEACH), which reinforces a shared investment in building a well-prepared early childhood workforce. Through this collaborative effort, TEACH enhances the quality of early childhood education across Colorado by empowering educators and strengthening the field.
