Support Senior Hub for Colorado Gives Day!

The Senior Hub has been serving aging adults in Adams County for over 35 years. We have a variety of free programs to help our seniors, caretakers, and loved ones. 

Our elderly clients can remain independent in their own home and receive hot meals delivered to their door 5 days a week through Meals on Wheels. We currently serve over 500 people each day with the help of our wonderful volunteer drivers!

Adult Day Services is a place where our clients can go during the day and participate in social activities with other seniors. It also provides relief to caretakers who won't have to worry about their loved one while they're out. 

For our clients needing some extra assistance getting food, we offer Food Pantry resources where clients can pick up food and household products to take home. Our market nights have helped provide food for over 26,000 households!

Our Well-Elder program was born during the pandemic to help our clients maintain their access to information through technology. We provide tablets and smart watches at no cost and we teach them how to use the devices, how to use tools like Telehealth and video calls, and provide guidance on fraud protection.   

We host Market Nights - an extension of the Senior Hub Food Pantry where clients have an opportunity to come, first come first serve, to a designated site within Adams County (Thornton, Federal Heights, and Westminster) and receive a fresh produce box as well as community resource items.

The pandemic brought about a new way for us to help the community through Vaccine Outreach work. From 2020 to early 2022, the Senior Hub served our aging community through vaccine and booster outreach programs where we coordinated transportation to vaccine clinics, hosted local vaccine clinics, and executed vaccine registration for English and Spanish speaking older adults.

Our mission at the Senior Hub is to advance the quality of life for older adults through advocacy, community partnerships, and our direct services planned to sustain an independent, healthy aging experience. Donations directly support our important work in the community - thank you so much!
