Your donation will help support Reach Out and Read Colorado as we partner with pediatricians throughout the state to 'prescribe' high quality books and provide guidance for parents/caregivers at more than 290,000 well-child visits this year.
Reach Out and Read Colorado has a simple goal - to see every child in Colorado start school ready to learn. I am incredibly proud to work for this organization and am passionate about the work we do every single day. Many children have limited access to books and rarely, if ever, spend time reading with their parents. It is our goal to change that by building up a family's home library and encouraging families to spend time reading together every single day. This not only helps prepare kids for kindergarten but allows children to bond with their caregivers during time spent reading together.
Just $25 provides families with books & literacy guidance at 4 well-child visits this year.
