Recovery takes courage. Getting help shouldn’t require overcoming even more barriers.

For someone ready to make a change, the path to recovery can still be filled with obstacles.

Sometimes the barrier is cost. Sometimes it is transportation, isolation, uncertainty about where to turn, or simply not having a safe and welcoming community nearby. Often, the difference is having someone there who can help make the next step possible.

A Way Forward exists to help remove those barriers.

We believe recovery grows stronger when people have access to support, meaningful connection, practical resources, and a community where they know they belong.

Throughout the St. Vrain Valley, A Way Forward works to create that community through recovery programs, groups and classes, outreach, activities, peer connection, and other services that help people move forward in recovery.

Why the Annual Fund Matters

Not every important need fits neatly into a single program or grant.

Our Annual Fund gives A Way Forward the flexibility to respond where the need is greatest.

Annual Fund gifts help sustain the everyday work behind our mission — keeping programs and services accessible, supporting outreach and community activities, maintaining a welcoming place for people to connect, and providing the resources necessary to keep A Way Forward available when someone is ready to reach out.

It is the foundation that allows us to keep doing the work of removing barriers to recovery.

Our 2026 Goal: $25,000

This year, our goal is to raise $25,000 for the A Way Forward Annual Fund.

Every contribution moves us closer.
