This project has been approved by the PTO. The goal is to raise money over the winter and to start the project in Spring 2019. Feel free to

$2,266

raised by 13 people

$6,000 goal

The goal is to transform the wall and the playground into a creative, colorful, thought provoking environment. Students will be involved in the planning and the painting alongside a professional mural artist. We will also practice the "Leader in Me" principles taught at Redstone during the project. This project will beautify the elementary playground and hopefully inspire present and future students for many years.

The $6,000 will pay for paint and material as well as the time for the professional artist to plan, paint, teach, and guide the students. The project is anticipated to take 8 full days. The wall is approximately 600 square feet. Clear coat will be added after the mural is complete to protect the art for years to come.

We plan to involve rotating groups of students so that numerous students have a chance to participate and leave a legacy on their elementary experience. Be watching for communication from the school if you think your kid(s) would like to be involved.

The artistic concept is animals doing kid like activities such as chess, reading, basketball, and soccer. The animals have playful expressions + are sporting Redstone Eagles gear.
