The historic buildings on Rock Ledge Ranch tell the important stories of several families that represent a period of growth and development in Colorado Springs from 1775 through 1920. The Rock Ledge Ranch Living History Association (LHA) exists to support the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site and help preserve those amazing stories.
The 1907 Edwardian Orchard House, built by Colorado Springs founder, General W.J. Palmer, is in need of extensive exterior repairs. From crumbling stucco to deteriorating wood exteriors, maintenance is desperately needed to preserve and protect this lovely home.
In addition to the Orchard House, there are many structures on the property, including the Rock Ledge House, the barn, animal structures, the blacksmith shop and the homestead cabin that require continued maintenance.
