Pet Parade is Postponed
along with the entire Tennyson Fall Festival.

The Tennyson Berkeley Business Association has postponed the Fall Festival and the Pet Parade until 11/11 due to the pending snowstorm coming in. I hope you are all still able to make it on November 11th!
We will still be able to gather to see our pets in costume on October 28th at 1pm, thanks to The Empourium Brewing Company located at 42nd and Tennyson!! They will be keeping us out of the weather while offering beer specials to handlers and treats to pups in costume. While this will not be the full parade and costume contest (that will happen on 11/11), it will be a chance to celebrate Halloween with our adorable pet family!
I hope to see you on BOTH occasions!

Pet Parade Registration = a Donation to Pets in Need!
I am thrilled that ALL registration money for the 6th Annual Tennyson Street Pet Parade will be going directly to Colorado Pet Pantry! Every penny of your registration will go to feeding Colorado's hungry pets. We suggest a $25 donation, but please give whatever amount you can. There is no entry fee for the Tennyson Fall Fest this year, so your generous parade registration all goes to a good cause. Please use an email address that you check regularly when donating - your parade registration will be pulled directly from this donation page, and event updates on where to pick up your registration packet will be emailed to the address you use here. Can't attend? Your donation is still welcome!
Why Colorado Pet Pantry?
People should not have to relinquish their pets just because they are facing economic hardship. PETS ARE FAMILY. With your support, Colorado Pet Pantry will provide pet food assistance to cover the gap when housing costs, inflation, medical expenses, vet care, job loss, or underemployment chip away at the resources people need to feed their pets.
When times are hard, people and pets need each other the most. This year, by participating in the Pet Parade we will be helping people to keep their pets in loving homes!
Colorado Pet Pantry is the largest organization of its kind in the US. They partner with human food banks, human service organizations, animal shelters, and pet rescues to make getting pet food as easy as possible for the people and pets who need it. Your support allows the organization to operate more than 100 pet food bank locations each month in 31 counties across the state of Colorado.
This Year's Prizes and Categories:
All Pets get a ribbon of participation, a commemorative number bib, and treats from Mouthfuls. This year there will be 1st and 2nd place prizes for Individual and Group Costumes. Denver Pet Pics will be giving away the prize to be next year's Parade Mascot (just like Teddy won last year) to the Most Photogenic Pet! And, as every year, our most senior pets get special honors.
