To provide middle and high school students hands on training, mentoring through robotics.

In 2022, Tony had a vision of creating a Center of Excellence, a place where students and young adults could come together not just to learn, but to invent, build, and explore.

He imagined a space filled with energy and purpose, and lots of loud machine sounds! He wanted to create a place where young people, no matter their background, could learn to code, machine, wire, weld, and dream big.

It wasn’t just about robotics or technology. It was about giving every student the opportunity to realize their potential, to turn “what ifs” into “look what I made.”

In order to make Tony's dream come to life, we need your help. If you feel inspired to donate to this project, please click the blue "Donate" button in the upper righthand corner. We thank you in advance.

About

Neaera Robotics is a nonprofit 501(c)3 company created to provide middle and high school kids hands-on training and education in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Our goal is to empower the youth of Colorado to learn, create and share the knowledge they have gained. We aim to guide and mentor youth through real life interactions with businesses from the community. We encourage an environment that allows kids to work with other students, adult mentors, professionals and parents, plus support and give back to their community.

Neaera Robotics offers any student from any school, location or financial status a safe environment to learn, discover and design new technologies, machine the next invention and program anything that they can come up with! We encourage this discovery through the development of robotics. Neaera Robotics works with local businesses to supply the program with tools, supplies and cutting-edge technology to support the youth and their ideas.

Mission

  1. To develop and operate an after school educational robotic club
  2. To enlighten, guide and educate youth in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics
  3. To provide access to hands on learning experiences for youth at a manageable cost
  4. To provide instruction and mentoring in managing a team, learning how to fundraise and working with local businesses
  5. To directly engage in and to provide facilities for others to engage in the promotion of robotics, engineering, programming, software design and team events

Problems

Schools can only teach so much. Neaera Robotics allows the student to learn many different technologies by using a hands-on approach to design and build. Having mentors that are experts in the fields of engineering, computer science and business leaders, we aim to help facilitate ideas and make them a reality.

Additional Challenges include:

- Space: having enough space for the students that are interested in this program.

- Mentors: being able to have enough help from experts in the fields of STEM

- Funding: Costs for having students build robots like metal, motors, electronics, and travel to events.

We need your help!

Neaera Robotics is preparing for a new space, a Center of Excellence.  We are excited to announce the development of a 12,000 square foot robotics workspace. This journey will take some time but we are excited to have this amazing space for students to have fun through robotics.

Current Status

The construction is underway!  Most of the dirt has been moved and drainage plan is in place! What is next?

  • Add Utilities
  • Put up the shell of the building (starts mid-July)
  • Add inside finish of the machine shop, FLL/FTC/FRC fields and office space (start time TBD)
