Help me win a CCA Scholarship!

Thank you for visiting my page! I am helping raise money for the Community College of Aurora (CCA) Foundation. As you might know, I am a CCA student and take pride in my college! The CCA Foundation raises money each year to give students scholarships to attend my school – they gave away almost $650,000 in scholarships this last year!   

This year, I am competing for a scholarship of my own. I am competing against my fellow Student Government members for the chance to snag a $500 or $1,000 scholarship! This is where you come in, in order to win I have to get the highest number of people to give to my page before midnight on December 10th. You read that right, the highest number of people giving, not the highest amount raised. I hope you will consider a gift of any amount that you are comfortable with to help me achieve this scholarship. Every $5 counts! Everything raised goes to help more students at CCA get scholarships, students like me!

Get to know me: My name is Kate Torres Castelan, I am majoring in Business at the Community College of Aurora. This December, I will be Transferring to Metropolitan State University to earn my bachelor's degree in business finance. I am currently in the Student Government Association as the Senator of Career and Technical Education at my School and working towards helping students be heard by being a voice for them. In SGA, we work to bring students, and their families support not just in their studies but as well as their day to day lives. Winning this Scholarship would be a lot to me as I pay all of my studies out of pocket, and it will help me continue my studies. I can never thank you enough for your donation!
