$10,000 goal

in 9 months left

Hello All,

As you know, I've spent the past 9 winters up at Eldora volunteering with Ignite Adaptive Sports. Whether working with children, Special Olympic racers, or Veterans, I've found the experience to be highly rewarding -- for the skiers, their parents (if relevant), and myself.

Ignite Adaptive Sports has grown, and we could only manage our "temporary" space for another couple of years. I was part of a grassroots effort to raise $150,000 of the funds needed, and we succeeded. With our host mountain, Eldora, and your support, we "moved mountains" to make this goal becomes a reality: the new building was completed in October 2026, and it is providing:

-- A larger, safer space for our students and the adaptive equipment they need.
-- A less crowded and hectic environment for those with cognitive impairments.
-- Direct lift access by way of a bridge to the lift line.

-- Program stability and commitment to the disabled community.
-- 1,600 or more lessons each season.

With this building, no student is being turned away due to space constraints.

Looking forward, your continued support of Ignite can make a difference for our athletes. Please donate today!

"The Ignite program is absolutely enhancing the lives of its fortunate participants, making what once may have seemed impossible, possible." Susan Roussos, mother of Ignite student with cerebral palsy.
